I know most of ya'll have heard about Kanye's statments already. And I agree with the nigga 100%.

I'm not trying to compare tragedies AT ALL! So let me get that the fuck clear now..cuz it's ALL bad, but Katrina was 10 times worse than 9/11. THis is a whole city wiped out and thousands died, instead of a couple buildings. And when 9/11 happened the country stopped. The government was over there that same day. Schools, banks, stores everything shut the fuck down. When Katrina first broke if you wasn;t watching CNN or some shit you would think it wasn't that serious until waaaay later, because the media coverage was no where close to what it shoulda been, and it took the president like what 3-4 days to get down there, and when he did he just flew over New Orleans!?!?!?!?!

The thing about it, alot of black people already knew and fell what Kanye said, even before Katrina. its just good to hear somebody outright say it on a national stage like that.

But the most important thing is those lifes, the one who made it thru but dont; got nothing and the ones who didn't. Try to help out if you can, Now since some of the gulf coast poeple are up here, I try to find out the orginizations that are givign 100 PRECENT of the money to people who NEED IT! I can't give a million dollars but the little I do I wanna make sure it goes TO THEM!!!
